Rodent Control Catalog

There is a wide variety of pest control products used to control or eliminate rodent populations.  Choose the type of product that best suits your situation, whether your target pests are rats, mice or all kinds of rodents.
Safety First!  When using rodenticides, always place your bait in areas not accessible to children, pets or wildlife.  When controlling pests in dumpsters you must also consider that children or even some adults might possibly rummage through refuge in search of food or other items.  If this is the case, keep your rat or mouse bait in lock boxes or baiters which encourage mice and rats (including Roof rats and Norway rats) to feed but also secures the bait from humans and wildlife.

There are several brands of professional rodenticides: Talon, Fastrac, Maki, Contrac, Generation.  Within the different brands are different forms of rat and mouse baits: blocks, bulk pellets and packs of pellets.  All of the rodenticides listed here are anticoagulants, except for Fastrac Rodenticide Pellets.

Trapping rodents is more appealing or desirable for different situations.  Among the different traps you have the choices of glue traps, snap traps (kill traps), electronic Rat Zappers and even live traps.  For rodent infestations where rats and mice share the territory, the Rat Zapper 2000 and the T-Rex Traps are both capable of killing all sizes of rodents.  There are several different live mouse traps to choose from, including the Mouse Master and the Tin Cat mouse traps.  Glue traps are often used in conjunction with a baiting program (which helps locate and discard dead rodents before odors develop) but are most often used in food handling areas where snap traps and rodenticides are unsafe and usually are illegal.
